Finnforest may shut Tilbury ops

Published:  26 October, 2009

ESSEX: Finnforest has started staff consultations on a proposal to close its Tilbury operations.

If confirmed, the move would see the head office and sales function move to a nearby location.

Approximately 70 job roles would be transferred from Tilbury while a further 70 would be created at other sites. Final decisions will be made by early January, with the proposed closure taking place by 31 December 2010.
