JT Atkinson heads out of town

APPLEBY-IN-WESTMORLAND: Builders' merchant JT Atkinson opened a second outlet in Appleby-in-Westmoreland.

The company said the new operation in Crosscroft Industrial Estate, outside the town, gives customers more choice and easy access. The new site stocks larger timber sizes and roofing products.

The town-centre store continues to trade with both sites managed by Phillip Cooper

In August, Atkinson acquired Hathaway & Hoyle Timber Merchants in Stockton on Tees. Atkinson operates in the North of England with eight outlets.
