Lib Dems support boiler scrappage scheme

Published:  22 October, 2009

LONDON: Liberal Democrat MP, Richard Younger-Ross tabled an early day motion in the commons supporting the Reheat Britain campaign for central heating boiler replacement.

The motion calls on the Government to support the scheme "that will save thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions" and support British manufacturers.

Few early day motions are debated but the measure will help promote the scheme among MPs.
