Polypipe has more than doubled its Loughborough production capacity and workforce.
The multi-million pound investment into the expanded 55,000sq ft facility increases Polypipe’s capacity to manufacture and fabricate its Ridgistorm-XL large diameter pipe system, which incorporates fully engineered modularised chambers and fittings.
Emma Nicholls, marketing communications manager at Polypipe, said: “We are delighted that our new line is up and running. Demand for Ridgistorm-XL has continued to grow since its launch six years ago, to the point where we needed to explore increasing our production facilities.
“With the new line added, we can continue to produce quality engineered products in much larger quantities, as well as offering an even bigger and better fabrications service.
“This is a very exciting time for us and we hope that the industry will benefit from our increased ability to meet even the most challenging projects, as we continue to offer and grow our portfolio of engineered products.”
