Ridgeons’ Ipswich branch marked the completion of its recent refurbishment by raising nearly £300 for the Group’s chosen charity of the year: the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Complete with a new kitchen and bathroom showroom, fresh signage, and a remerchandising overhaul, the branch has been re-organised to free up space and create a more welcoming environment for customers. In addition, former assistant branch manager Andy Buzza has been promoted to Ipswich branch manager.
To celebrate these changes, the branch held a variety of promotions throughout May, culminating in a charity raffle which was drawn by Helen Glenholmes, deputy fundraising co-ordinator at the East Anglian Air Ambulance, earlier this week.
Mr Buzza said: “The refurbishment has totally revitalised the branch; the relocation of the tills has enabled us to create more space and provide a more pleasant environment for customers and staff alike.
“Coupling the unveiling of our new-look branch with raising money for the vital emergency service that the East Anglian Air Ambulance provides for our region, seemed like too good an opportunity to miss. We are thrilled we have been able to make this donation and I would like to thank all our customers for their much-valued support.
“A special mention must go to Andy Day, who won two prizes on the day of the draw, as well as a big thank you to Helen for drawing the winning ticket.”
